DayTrader-Generation is an education-based company based close to Monaco. We are offering intensive, affordable courses on investing
and trading. We try to educate traders and follow them up afterwards.
We are a group of 2 traders who work daily on the European and American futures markets, both day- and swing-trading.
With the proliferation of individually directed trading and investing - whether through discount brokers, on-line brokerage firms or daytrading
houses - a tremendous need has developed for sound investment training and advice. DayTrader-Generation was formed to instruct
individuals, regardless of investment or trading style, on strategies and techniques to limit losses and maximize returns.
There has never been a time where so much financial data has been available to so many people and in such a timely fashion. Nevertheless,
the investor and trader still face the challenge of interpreting this data and finding ways to turn the data into real profits. The
DayTrader-Generation courses teach investors and traders how to turn data into information from which to profitably trade.
The financial markets have proved to be very lucrative for many, but have also become treacherous. With volatility at levels never seen before it
is imperative that individuals who wish to participate in the markets have the training to make effective trading decisions and to survive.
What is Day-Trading ?
The financial world is changing rapidly, a reason to become a “Professional Day-Trader” !
Day-Traders buy and sell financial instruments (future-contracts, indexes, stocks) throughout the day with the objective that the price will
fluctuate in value during the day, allowing them to earn quick and reasonable profits. A Day-Trader will hold his position anywhere from a
few seconds to a few hours, but will always sell his whole position before the close of each day. The Day-Trader will therefore not
own any positions at the close of any day so he has NO overnight risk. This is really the safest way to do Day-Trading because you
are not exposed to the potential losses that can occur when the stock market is closed due to news that can affect the prices of your
stocks. Unfortunately, many people who claim to be "Day-Trader" hold future or stocks overnight because of fear or greed, thus setting
themselves up for the catastrophic elimination of their capital. The objective of Day-Trading is to quickly get in and out of any
particular future-contract or stock for a profit anywhere from a few cents to several points per contract/share on an intra-day basis.
Since currencies can be traded 24-hours-a-day, there is no such thing as "overnight" trading. Thus, you can have open positions for
longer than a day with active stop losses that can be activated at any time (this is called swing-trading).

About Daytrader-Generation
|
Daytrader-Generation was created to teach private traders some of the research and trading techniques that are used by Investment Banks
and Hedge Fund traders.
In particular we want our clients to understand what constitutes a good trading decision rather than trades based on hope, tips or false beliefs.
To do this, we try to teach our clients to understand as much as possible about the future markets and importantly to increase their knowledge
of risk, reward and expected return.
Daytrader-Generation is different as many other companies who offer ‘Get Rich Quick’ or ‘Beat the Markets’ courses which, in our opinion, are
of little use to traders. We also do not teach our clients to use defined systems which we believe offer little or no edge to traders.
We simply do not believe that such methods offer a credible and sustainable answer to our trading and investing needs.
We have decided to offer tuition courses to private traders after we realised that much of the education previously available was of little benefit to
them and predominantly benefited the providers. We believed that this was because many educators had little or no experience of trading at
the sharp end of the industry. Their techniques and beliefs resemble those of part-timers rather than real professional traders and their
reputations are built on slick marketing rather than robust decision making techniques. People can be confident that after the courses with us,
we do not try to persuade them to buy any further material, software etc. We take pride in the fact that we offer quality, impartial education and
do not receive inducements etc.. from any brokers or software vendors.
Definition of a Day-Trader
A day trader is someone who buys and sells financial instruments (eg stocks, options, futures, derivatives, currencies) within the same trading
day such that all positions will usually be closed before the market close of the trading day. This trading style is called day trading.
Depending on one's trading strategy, it may range from several to even a hundred orders a day.
There are 2 major type of day-traders : the institutional day-trader (the one who works for a financial institution) and the individual day-trader,
who works for him/herself.
